The women’s ministry of Grace Baptist Church exists to help every woman feel loved, accepted, encouraged and equipped to pursue a passionate and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to respond and with gratitude for that relationship by serving others in love.
At a time when liberalism, feminism and materialism have filled the ‘Christian circles’, it can be hard to distinguish what is the biblical stand of us women. It is easy to give an outward show when our hearts are bent in a totally different direction. Our tendency to go with what triggers our emotions can leave us easily swayed by waves of false doctrines making us what the Bible calls a ‘gullible woman’ (2 Timothy 3:6)
It is in light of these that our Women’s fellowship is founded. So that we may, therefore, as we received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith abounding in thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6-7). Letting our adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious (1 Peter 3:4) as we adorn the doctrine of God our Savior (Titus 2:10)
